RHUBARB CAKE

RHUBARB CAKE

 

1 ½ cups brown sugar

½ cup butter or margarine

1 egg

1 cup buttermilk

2 cups all purpose flour

1 Tsp. soda

1 Tsp. vanilla

½ Tsp. salt

1 ½ cups fresh rhubarb – cut into small pieces

 

Pour into a greased 9 x 13” cake pan.  Mix ¼ cup white sugar and 1-teaspoon cinnamon.  Sprinkle over batter.

 

Bake in 350-degree oven for 50 minutes.
