HOW TO COOK BROWN SUGAR COOKIES

BROWN SUGAR COOKIES

 

Makes 200 cookies.                                                                                                     Bake in 350° oven.

 

 

INGREDIENTS

Brown sugar 1 qt. (or 4 cups)
Butter or other shortening 1 lb. 2 cups
Shell eggs 4
Sifted flour 2 qts & 1 cup (or 9 cups)
Soda 2 tsps.
Salt 2 tsps.
Baking powder 4 tsps.
Milk 2 cups
Vanilla 2 tsps.

 

 

DIRECTIONS:

1.      Cream butter, sugar and eggs.  Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla.
2.      Drop with a No. 40 scoop on a greased baking sheet or shape dough in rolls, chill and slice.
3.      Bake at 350°F. oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until done and brown.
