How to make Chinese Fried Rice

<Fried Rice


1 cup rice

2 eggs

½ cup green onions

1-3 Tablespoons soy sauce or to taste

1/3 cup grated carrot

1-2 Tablespoon green peas

½ cup pre-cooked meat


  1. In large saucepan put rice and 1 ½ cup cold water.  Cover.  Bring to a boil.  Reduce heat and cook until water is absorbed (about 15 minutes) DO NOT STIR. Put in container and store.
  2. In small frying pan, put 1 Tablespoon oil and scramble the eggs.  Slice and store with rice.
  3. In large frying pan put 2 Tablespoons oil and heat on high.  Sauté the onions and carrots.  Add the remaining ingredients and HEAT thoroughly, stirring often.
